To show you how patriotic is Malaysians, I have attached few photos below. It has already been 49 years since our independence on 31 August 1957. No matter how big is a city or how small is a village, you will always find a flag of Malaysia throughout August.....

Busted #3

Driver, please make sure you have your lights on your vehicles before driving them on the road. As you can see, this driver has no back lights and it is quite hard to tell if the lorry is slowing down. Very dangerous indeed....

Don't Forget To Smile

This is an article taken from the Star newspaper quite some time ago, about a Courtesy Campaign. We must now remind people to smile to us when they are working. However, "the remind me if I forget to Look at You" seems freeky. Anyway, all in all, just hopes that this Courtesy Campaign will work if only we will remind them and they are willing to reminded....

ninemillion.org

9,000,000 children are refugees right now.

There are 20.8 million refugees and other people in need of protection. Most of these people have fled persecution or conflict at some point in their lives.

You might not be able to change the world, but you can change the world for one refugee child. We can't do it without you.

How you can help:

• $25 can send one refugee to school for a year.

• $50 can provide a refurbished computer to a refugee school.

• $275 trains one new refugee teacher for a community school or a community technology centre.

Whatever you give - $1 or $1000, will improve the lives of children in refugee camps around the world through education and sports programs.

Just give them a hand here. It does not hurt your pocketss....

Eyesore

Sad to say that Malaysians are always over reacting. I have taken photos of 2 acts which are very disgraceful. Whenever Malaysians are told not to do something, they will do the opposite. That is why we, as Malaysians advance very slowly.

The photo below was taken in Penang Island. "Hentikan Vandalisme" means "Stop Vandalism". However, the board of this notice is vandalised by people. That is why I say we are opposite.
The photo below was taken in Butterworth ferry jetty. That person should have been fined, but he goes free. He is committing open burning which is against the law and it harms the environment. Although the law banned it, but he still did it. I'm here reaching out to every Malaysian to be aware of the current situation. We need to improve as a nation. Police should always take their steps faster to reduce many crimes which arise. Moreover, our National Day is coming. We should start now, before matters get worse....

Siti Nurhaliza & Datuk K

21st of August 2006 is the day Siti Nurhaliza and Datuk K gets married. The ceremony was aired on TV3 (Malaysian Channel). I guess the whole marriage thing really cost a big load of money, cause I hardly seen any Malaysian who aired their marriage on the television. Anyway, I'm not sure how their love life will be like after marriage. I guess only time will tell. I can only say good luck to them and the consequences of their decisions all lie in their hands....

BIG Shop for BIG People

Ever wonder where really fat people get their clothes? The answer is here. I found this shop called Big + Tall in Perangin Mall, Penang. This shop sells all the clothes which are in super size, from ML to XXXXL. I took 2 pictures of a big pants which was being sold at the shop. I can't believe that I'm actually seeing really BIG clothes. My whole body could fit in the pants I think....
Big + Tall, Big People's paradise for clothes.
Here is the big pants. Click on the image to get a clearer view.
This is a clearer view of the pants. I guess this is where the Giant, from "Jack and the Beanstalk", bought his pants.

Craze Over HSM

Since the release of High School Musical on Astro, many people is crazy of it. Mostly, it's because of the existence of great songs throughout the movie. Sad to say that I haven't watch the movie myself, but I know a lot of people can't get over it. Honestly, the songs are nice, but I'm not sure about the plot though. But, I think it would be a great movie to watch....

Ellen MacArthur

This is Ellen MacArthur, an English sailor. She is the fastest person to sail the world (solo). When I heard the news, I was really surprise. Now I know how strong women are and I really respect them now. Women might even win men in the future. To read more about Ellen MacArthur, please visit here.....

A 30th Floor View of Gurney Drive

This is a photo taken by me from a 30th floor of a condominium. It is really a beautiful view at night. Gurney Drive is certainly a popular place to visit at night before Queensbay opens. I am not sure whether Queensbay will take over Gurney Drive, but I hope it doesn't. The photo below is taken in the next morning around 7 plus in the morning. As you can see in the photo, you can see that the sea is an eye sore in the morning. I am not sure what is at the shore. Perhaps it was mud. I guess, if we do not preserve the beautiful sea, soon, the sea at gurney drive will be a great eye sore....

Moon of The Ghost Month

The moon of the ghost month(in the lunar calender) is always round and bright. There will be two ghost months this year. Ghost month is the month where Chinese people fear as the gates of the ghosts are open. You rarely see Chinese people getting married or even move into a new house. If only the bright moon can appear in every month......

Tamiya Mini 4WD

Tamiya Mini 4WD cars got everyone crazy about them. It was almost a decade ago where it was very famous among everyone from all ages. I could say that almost all my friends that time would have 2 cars. However, now they are no longer that famous anymore among Malaysians. Now, they are just for collector's items.....

Check What You Have Bought

Everyone please remember to check what you have bought as sometimes the item might be faulty. This is a picture of a Ashlee Simpson CD I bought at a place(which I do not want to name). I did not open it up on the day I bought, but the next day as I was tired. Once I opened it, I was saying "Shit". I did not go and changed it as I know they would not want to accept even if I have my receipt as they could say that I was the one who broke it. So everyone please check on the things that you bought.....

Facts on Celebrities

I read in a magazine a few weeks back and found out some interesting facts about few celebrities. First of all, it's about Jennifer Lopez (J.Lo). It seems that she insured her butt for 1.6 billion US Dollars and her breasts for 320 million US Dollars. It's impossible for me to insure my life for such money and she has already insured parts of her body that much. Imagine if you get to touch the butt, you will be touching one of the most expensive butts in the world. Now for David Beckham. He seemed to insured his right leg for 117 million US Dollars or Pounds, I have forgotten. I understand if he insured his leg for that much as it's one of the nice right leg in football. How about Henry, Zidane and Ronaldinho?
As for Natalie Portman. Nothing much about her except that she has a degree in psychology from Harvard University. I cannot believe that she was actually a graduate from Harvard. No wonder when she talks, she sounds cool.

Those are what the magazine wrote. Can't believe it? You better believe it.....

Malaysia Carnival Sale and Tapah Rest Spot

I spent my past few days in Kuala Lumpur(KL). The Malaysian Carnival Sale or also known as Mega Sale has just started and everywhere is having sales at great prices. Female shoppers are getting crazier, but the Singapore Sale in mid year is better compared to the Malaysian Carnival Sale (that's what I think). Something distrubs my mind. I saw many Arab tourists in Berjaya Times Square in the weekend and I am wondering why suddenly there are many. Are they having holidays there? Anyway, the picture below is taken in Mid Valley. If any of you guys are planning to come down to the Northern Region, do stop by the Tapah rest spot. It is a great place for you to eat, but not really relaxing though. They have 4 great food outlets which are Kentucky Fried Chicken(KFC), No.1 Hot Dog(Haven't heard of it), Dunkin' Donuts and also Baskin Robbins. I didn't know they have such great place somewhere in the highway. The only 2 popular outlets are KFC and Baskin Robbins though. Tourits from Singapore, do come and try it out if ever you are planning to come to the Northern Region of Malaysia......
