Transformers

I managed to catch Transformers yesterday. This is the only thing I like about my hometown. You can catch a Blockbuster Film on the second day of its release, by buying ticket with only 1 hour before the movie starts. Unlike KL, you have to like book it so early and it will be damn pack in the cinema. However, the quality of cinemas is definitely better. Yesterday, when the movie started, the first 30 seconds of the movie has no sound. Technical problems I guess.

Anyway, the movie is awesome. It made me, a non-transformers fan, into one. To all those who haven't watch it yet, please watch it and don't miss a second of the movie please. Do not go to the toilet during the movie and off your mobile phone to avoid distraction. You are not the "tai ko" in the cinema.

Alright, going to Singapore tomorrow morning. Will blog from there. Can't wait now....

Random Post #4

I have not been doing much lately. Just been watching The Apprentice. I have managed to finish season 1 to season 4. It was definitely an educational reality movie and I have learnt a lot from it.

I will be going to Singapore this Sunday and I am not sure why am I not excited as the last time I want to go. Probably I haven't been having enough sleep for the past few days, which was spent on The Apprentice. I must get up and pumping to get ready for my unbelievable Singapore trip, where I will be stopping and exploring what is there to be seen at each MRT stop. It is going to be hardwork with the period of 5 days, but I believe that I can do it. All I need is just planning.

Hope I do not get sick, as I am not feeling 100% well now. Feeling really tired. I should stop here now...

Final Fantasy IX - I Have Finished It

Yeah, I have just officially finished playing Final Fantasy IX. Finally finished this game after so long. It is a year 2000 game, but I only finished playing now. Thanks to Chi Ming for borrowing me the disc and his PlayStation for me to play. Really feel more relief now as I finished my second goal during this summer holidays, after finishing the puzzle that I bought.

Final Fantasy IX is really a great game to play, which is almost the same as all Final Fantasy series, which makes them always the best RPG series ever made. In Final Fantasy IX, the only thing that I like is the story and I like the ending the most. It was purely love and it was touching. Really touching, if you put your shoes in it.

Final Fantasy, an all time favourite game of mine which portrays friendship, hope and love.....

Improved Business Strategy

Durian selling has never been advance in technology until now. There is a durian seller in Penang who accepts Credit Card payments. Speaking of gaining market share, the credit service offered to buyers would certainly create a competitive advantage for the seller. This shows that road side stalls are starting to improve its quality in service customers.

I read about it in this article, which can be read in the Star.

端午节 - Duan Wu Festival

Yesterday was the Duan Wu Festival, according to the Chinese Calender. It the one of the nice seasons again in a year. Someone people call it the Chang Festival, because of the traditional food to be eaten during this season. Those who are not familiar with this festival will see the traditional food, later in the blog.

There is actually nothing much about this festival. People will just enjoy eating the food during this season. All I am longing for, during this season to come, is just the food. The food is quite good actually, especially if your mom is the one who make them.......
These are Bak Chang. There are normal ones and huge ones.

This is how it looks like inside. There are rice, mushroom, egg york, meat and ground nuts. inside the Chang. Different people would include different ingredients.

These are Ki Chang. They are smaller than Bak Chang.

This is how it looks like inside. They are usually eaten with brown sugar.

Ms.Koh's Wedding

Last night, two people had one of the most memorable nights of their lives. A marriage, people would always regard as the once in a life time event. That was what Ms.Koh Sin Ching was having. Our secondary school teacher, had her wedding after so many years of searching for her soul mate and finally she found him. No doubt that she was teaching us for 2 or maybe just 1 year, but she remembered us, because of our friendliness and our mischievous character I guess. Apart from being students to her, we can be considered as her friends too.

Her wedding was held at Cinta Sayang, golf and country resort. There were more than 40 tables of people who attended the wedding. 6 of us went to her wedding at Cinta Sayang, me, Sam, Han Yang, Daniel, Kishan and Syahrul Aiman. Anand, could not join us, as he is coming back one day after her wedding in SP. There were few of other secondary school teachers who went to the wedding. The nice part was we, students were sitting inside and the teachers were sitting outside. Haha, that was really nice to see. We had a great time, the couple had a great time and everyone had a great time.

I, hereby wishing Ms.Koh all the best and good luck in her life in Perth.....

Tao

Photos were taken from my camera phone and Yin Sin's camera.

Last Wednesday, my friends and I, 11 of us to be exact, went to Auto City to have dinner. As usual, people at this age, cannot make up our mind on where to eat. In the end, we went to eat at a Japanese Restaurant which serves the "all you can eat" concept for about RM 50.00 per person.

No doubt, at first we thought it was quite expensive, but then after settling down and eat and all, it was extremely worth it. Perhaps the food might not worth the amount we paid (certain people I guess), but to have a night out with 11 of us at a nice dinner was certainly worth it for me. Honestly, the food was undoubtedly great, but the portion of the food was quite small.

Everyone was certainly having fun, with laughters and jokes and stories and posing for the camera. You readers will see that almost every photo, there is a guy. He is Way Chow and he was really in to take photos with all his poses. I would say that he was the model that night.

It was a wonderful night. I recommend you guys to try the place out. They have one at e-Gate and one at Auto City. In the end, I would say that we ate more than what we paid. That was the beauty of taking a big group of people to eat buffet style. We ordered like more than 20 sco0ps of Ice cream and like more than 12 cups of Chawanmushi. I pity the waiters for taking so much orders from us.

Anyway, I will let the pictures do the talking from here. Some pictures are quite blur though. I apologise for the photos. I know Sean, Sze Wei and Gan would love to see the photos in the people, as they certainly would want to know how do North region girls look like. The night was marvelous.....

Regionals Penang 2007

I went to Regionals Penang yesterday to try my luck on qualifying for the Malaysian Nationals. And I guess I was very lucky to be able to qualify for the Nationals. HOWEVER, the deck which I used was not mine. I would say that full credit should go to my friend, Brian, who borrowed me the deck and thought me how to play with it. I really thank him.

I was using Gruul deck and I was considered very lucky to beat 2 top players from Penang, Rick Lee (Sifu) and Lim Ban Lee (Bouncer) in the first two round. They were running a Tron deck and a Blue Scryb Ranger respectively. Those were tough decks. I was really, really lucky to be honest, as they experienced Mana Flood or Mana Screw. That was the reason I beat them in the first two rounds.

At the top 8, I was facing Ah Sei with his Dranlu deck. It was quite though and once again, I won because of opponent mana screwing and not drawing counterspells. It was really really pure luck I would say, really, really, pure luck. If I were to get such luck in Nationals, I would be extremely happy.....

Finished My Puzzle

Finally I have finished my 950 pieces of puzzle. I was really happy to finally finish one of my goal during this holidays. Like Sean said, we will sure be happy one after finishing a puzzle. Yeah, and he was right. We bought a puzzle each for ourself, planed to finished it during this holiday and I guess we did it, as he finished his puzzle earlier than me.

I started my puzzle on Tuesday and managed to finished it yesterday. After putting the glue and frame, it looks really nice. Thanks for some tips from Sean. I guess I will buy more puzzles again in the coming future. At least I find something quite nice to do.....

This is the first day of my puzzle.

The second day of my puzzle.

Ah, there's still the last piece of the whole puzzle during the third day.

Finally, I have finished and framed it up. Nice.

A Busy Week

I had quite a busy week and all. I had to move some of my furnitures from my Semenyih house to my new Semenyih house. The new house has Streamyx. Yeah, connection ownage time (although haven't apply). Anyway, moved quite a lot of stuff - Tables, Chairs, Shelf, Bed and Mattress. The headache one of all was the mattress, because it is a Queen Size mattress. Even one of my friend's Honda Stream also can't fit.

So what should I do? Lorry? Quite expensive for a mattress. Car, too small to fit. BUT, I can put on top of a car. Of course the roof of a Kelisa would not handle the problem, but a Kia can. Haha, my friend, Sean's Kia. Thanks Sean for the help. There was not any other choice but to do that, luckily it was just a short distance. Besides that, there was house cleaning in the current house that I am renting, before our contract expires. The fridge had a serious frosting problem, as it was just a one door fridge. My roommate Eddie, had to use some tools to smash out the ice.
Wilson found a lizard in a drawer. A dead and skinny one that was. Wonder how long has it been there.
That is the amount of garbage that were cleared from our house. It was really A LOT.
Lastly, I had to pack all of my stuff and bring it back. A lot of packing today. I guess I have brought a lot of stuff to Semenyih and now I have to bring them back again. And of course, I have to bring it there again. Sad.
Anyway, those were the busy days that were passed. Now, holiday time. Back at hometown, wondering what to do. I know I have to finish my puzzle, Final Fantasy IX on PlayStation, probably enhance my blog and sort of my cards I guess. Anyway, wish me luck on those things to be done....
