The result for this year's Miss Universe is quite surprising to me, as an Asian has won the crown. What's more surprising is that the Miss Photogenic and Miss Congeniality went to 2 other Asians as well.
The Miss Universe, Riyo Mori, was crowned the Miss Universe 2007. I did not even know that the competition was going on, until I read the headline of The Star. 3 Asian women took all 3 titles, which is quite a rare sight to me. Usually there will always be a western who will win one of the titles. That is why I decided to blog about it. Simply surprising....
