Mess Up in Government Website

My friend was going online to check whether he had be saman by traffic police. The website is at http://jpj.myeg.com.my. When my friend keyed in his Identification Card (IC) number, it turned out to be a different person's name. It's Mardiani Binti Rozali. What's worse that it is a girl's name instead of a guy's. I mean how mess up can this be. Correct number leads to a wrong person? And they are advertising their website on the radio so often lately. I guess, they have to look at their problems to ensure a good quality website for the society to rely on. What a mistake I have to say........

Tesco #5 - Tesco Packing

Tesco has many products of their own now and many of them are substitutes to other existing products because of their low prices. However, I have never seen a nice outlook of the packing of the Tesco's products until the other day when I came across 2 products.

I feel that the label for the products are very cool and nice. It really captures my eyes as I really like the colour scheme and the pictures.....

Janet Jackson Then and Now

Cited from http://www.sitevip.net/janet_jackson/images/JanetCover.jpg

This is the Janet Jackson I know. I still remember the wardrobe malfunction which happens to her. She was so famous during that time, and even people who are not a fan of her also went to look for her pictures. Honestly, her songs are just ok to me, nothing great and she is not that famous to me.
Then one day, I was looking around a book store and I saw a magazine with this face on. I was wondering who is she and the picture is showing like an old aunty with a funny hair, nose and mouth. It really scares me. When I read the cover, it was Janet Jackson. I am not sure whether it is really her, but if it is true then I guess Janet Jackson is now the same as her brother Michael Jackson, whom has a facial disaster.

If it is really her, I feel so sorry for her. Why on earth would people want to change the looks of their faces? Makes no sense to me.....

The Beauty of Depression

It has been 2 years plus now since I have suffered from depression. Yeah I'm not afraid to say it out here. Depression is clearly a serious sickness and I am so glad that I am so coming out of it. It takes a lot of time and love to managed to overcome it. However, being not depressed has some disadvantages. You might think that it is funny, but there is a beauty of depression.

The best thing about depression is that I will feel very expressive and I tend to blog as much as possible. I just have to write whatever that is coming across my mind. That's what happened to my past 2 blogs, where a lot of thoughts that is coming into my mind are just there. The first blog was really a hit, as it has all kinds of depressive things. Really missed those days where inspiration is all around in me. Even a lot of number one songs in the Billboard are also sound depressive. So it's really true, depression can really gives inspiration, and that's the beauty of it.........

Happy Chinese New Year 2007

Chinese New Year is here. This year is a Pig year, which is the last Chinese zodiac in the Chinese calender. All the people will be start believing in fung shui again. It happens every year and I find it weird. Is fung shui really that effective? I'm not really sure. Seems that Pig is having an inauspicious year this year.

Anyway, Chinese New Year is actually nothing special to me. All the relatives will come back (sometimes) and meet together, eat together, give and get ang pau. All the usual thing that has been going on for the past years and it is quite boring. Nothing much to do actually, except there is a thing which is fun to play with every Chinese New Year and I guess everyone knows what is that. Hint*: Not Firecracker though. Anyway, for the past few years, my Chinese New Year is always not as fine as it is, which means it is worse than fine. i really have no mood for Chinese New Year. I have to admit that Christmas plays a more important role in myself, apart from Chinese New Year. Some will then say that I am a bit crazy and weird and of course I have to say that I am.

I just want to apologize to all my relatives if I offended and did not entertain them. I just have not in the mood. If you were to see me in Christmas, I am always joyful. Weird.........

Before Chinese New Year, went Tesco with my seniors. This is Li-Ann in the lion head.

Ah, doesn't see look like the pig? *No offense*

My senior, Chi Ming, looking at the weird pig.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is today. The day where all lovers are celebrating their love together. Although there are many who cannot be their lovers today, but their hearts will be. I feel that counts a lot. There are a lot of couples will be having their lovely dinner in a fancy restaurant or some might just eat delicious home cooked meals. A lovely day for the couples.

However, I am curious to know why is there such day. I mean can't couples celebrate their love everyday? Must they celebrate it on that day only? It is kind of weird though. Anyways, for those who have no one to celebrate with, just go out with friends or sit on the couch to watch some romance movies. It will be fun.

Happy Valentines......

P2P Throttling and TM

I found two articles on P2P Throttling regarding TM. It's at Low Yat website. The two links are http://www.lowyat.net/v2/latest/p2p-throttling-tmnet-replies.html and http://www.lowyat.net/v2/latest/broadband-throttling-the-star-takes-notice.html.

The first article is quite hilarious. It shows you how bad is the company on replying matters. If you read the forum, other replies to the subject matter also does not seem to answer the question on what people are looking for. Things are getting serious for the past week and so far, it just improves a little, but not much. The throttling really kills P2P, especially when it comes to Torrent.

Steps should be taken to address this matter, as we as consumers have signed contracts stating that we have 100% bandwidth and the current matter does not seem to be on our side.

However, the matter have been brought to the newspaper as you can see in the second article. I hope this is a starting point to restore the Internet service back to its original condition, which is when the time where everyone was happy. How I wish there is a big Internet Service Provider to come into Malaysia to compete with TM, so that there will be quality improvements and will make the consumers happy......

Tourism Exhibition and Wedding Expo

Went to Mid Valley yesterday and I found a Tourism Exhibition there and a Wedding Expo there. I would say that the two events had a great connection, which is after planning your marriage date, then book holiday tickets for your honeymoon.

The Tourism Exhibition, in conjunction with Visit Malaysia 2007, was nothing really great though. Just few companies offering holiday packages, and there's no doubt that AirAsia is there. There were not many people there and I managed to find 5 people standing on the stage with their back facing the audience. They were showing their "great" dance in front of everyone in order to win something. Everyone was just doing some crazy dance with the music played. The winner got a stay at a hotel, which I have forgotten the name .
Just some random people dancing around.

After visiting the Tourism Exhibition, I went to the Wedding Expo 2007. Seemed to be the 4th KL expo this year. I realised that all the people were all gathering at the Wedding Expo, because there will girls dressing up in wedding gowns doing a fashion walk on stage. That's where they went. In addition, many couples were gathering at various shops to ask about the usual wedding phototaking. The ladies doing the fashion walk were not really beautiful though. However, I found the most beautiful one, dressing up in a wedding gown. Was better than the 4 ladies.....

4th KL Wedding Expo

Not really beautiful.

Same again, not really beautiful.

Too, was not beautiful.

4 of the not so beautiful girls.

Ah, the most beautiful one of all. LOL.

Car Trip To Berjaya Time Square

I managed to drove to Berjaya Time Square with my friends yesterday. Bear in mind that the Malaysian edition of Time Square is totally different from the one in the United States. It was a successful outing as there was no accident, as I was really unfamiliar with the roads in Kuala Lumpur. So I was a bit nervous too, as the cars there are so much faster and the drivers are crazier. Anyway, just watched movies with my friends, Epic Movie and Blood & Chocolate. Epic Movie was really bad, but the other was quite nice. At last, I managed to drive to Berjaya Time Square. The next one I want to try would probably be Mid Valley....
KL Tower

Petronas Twin Tower

Berjaya Time Sqaure

It's getting nearer to Berjaya Time Square

Just a random picture of Time Square

Would love to watch this movie, as I really like Mr.Bean

A poster of Daniel Lee (Malaysian Idol). But, the head is broke a little and I wonder why the shop owner does not want to fix it. Perhaps they think he's not important. (Ops, fans will hit me for saying that)

Newly open Marrybrown in Time Sqaure.

Marrybrown burger with red stain. Does not seem like a good impression.

It is because of the way they wrap the burger with this red wraper.

Got this angpow from a shop next to Marrybrown. look at the validation date for this angpow in order to get a discount. It is after Chinese New Year. =.="

On the way back, there was a SLK 200 in front of me. Nice.

Sungai Long/Long River (English)

I went to Sungai Long yesterday with my housemates. Sungai Long is what it is called in Malay, and I'm not sure whether they have an English name for that place, cause if it is directly translated to English, it is called Long River.

Anyway, the place is quite nice to go to. However, it will get bored too, if many trips are made to there. I like the building design for the shophouses there though. It makes me feel like I'm living in the European countries.

There is an (University Tunku Abdul Rahman)UTAR campus nearby there and many of the students are basically staying near there. The food there is considered very cheap I guess, for a place in a Selangor state. Furthermore, there are 3 Internet Cafes in Sungai Long and the best one is e-century Internet Cafe. Basically it is quite a quite but nice place to stay at it certainly has more things to do there than the "jungle".......
A random view of the shophouses.
RM 3.2 for this. It's very cheap.

Random Post #1

Today is Thaipusam, so there's nothing much to do, but to stay in the computer lab, using desktop and laptop to surf around the net and see what I can find.

Got the following picture from Henry. He took a photo of a shop with the name "ipcsohpping". Is Malaysian English that bad, or they did that purposely. Shouldn't it be "ipcshopping"? Even my sister know that it is a spelling error.
ipcsohpping? Or should it be ipcshopping?

Just did some random sufing on the net. I guess, MoSai is right, Wikipedia is really cool to go to, as you can find anything there, as long as there is someone who write it. Went to find some random things and I managed to find articles on my previous school, SMK Ibrahim. Click here! There is also information on our SPM, here, which shows the top scorers of SPM. It seems funny to be that the name of the person who started the "SPM Many Subject Trend" (no offence) is not there. I mean he, Ong Jin Hock, is the first one to do it with 13A, and it is not there? It does not make any sense to me on how it can be overlooked by the author of the article.

Last but not least, check out this link at Low Yat website. Nothing else to say. This is Malaysia...
