Cicak-Man/Lizard-Man

The picture says it all. It is a Malaysian superhero action-comedy. For those who do not understand what Cicak means in Malay, it means Lizard. This will be very hilarious. I wonder how will he fight his enemies. Maybe cutting away his artificial tail, or maybe showing out his tongue to scare away people. I am totally clueless, but I guess it would not hurt to see the first Malaysian superhero movie. Perhaps it will turn out to be a blast. I wonder what will the town be called......

Need for Speed Carbon (NFS Carbon)

Finally, managed to finish the new Need for Speed Carbon. It's kinda nice, despite the short story line. The storyline seems short to me, and the amount of cars on the road also seems lesser than the previous Need for Speed. A lot of work lately, that is why my updates will come late and also might not have much thing to blog about.

I have an assignment to be due on 13 of December, dealing with HTML. HTML looks kinda fun to me, as I am really interested in web designing and also to change the outlook of this blog. But, until now, the procrastination of me makes the template changing thing to be delayed.....

Tesco #4 - Tesco Bins

This is not a Tesco product, but a Tesco amenity, for shoppers to get rid of their unwanted things/trash. Perhaps having a Tesco sign on the trash bin makes it easier to be identified, when someone is crazy enough to steal it......

Nikon D70S

I took this photo with Sean's high tech camera, which is Nikon D70S. It is a really cool camera. Photos you take look really real, as every detail can almost been seen. How I wish I can get his camera, but the problem is, it is bulky to hold, as it is really big. Sean, give me your camera, when you don't want to use it anymore. Hehe......

Auction Day

The place I'm studying had an auction day today. The event was organizing by Wall Street Journal Society, but the event was not about bidding for used things or rare things. The event was bidding for girls or guys. Yup, that's right. People are auctioning themselves for a free dinner with the one who bid them and they claimed that the money is going to "Charity". There were total of 16 people who auctioned themselves and there were loads of people going for the event. I would say around 90 percent of the people there are just watching. Not everyone got a date and the highest bid was RM 200, although the minimum bid was Rm 20. I did not managed to snap all the contestants as it was really packed, and my camera phone has some problems. So, I hope that the photos might help.....
People were coming to see the event.

It was so packed before when the event was going to start.

This is Chintan, our Student Association's Society Officer. Someone bid him for RM 10 and he was sold.

No idea what's her name and don't know how much someone bid her.

No idea what's her name and don't know how much someone bid her too.

No idea what's her name and don't know how much someone bid her 'three'. But I know that she is the Wall Street Journal Society's Vice President.

This guys is one of the 2 guys who offered RM 200 for a girl. How crazy is that? I can buy a pendrive with that price.

Trip to Hilton KL Again

I went to Hilton KL again, cause could not find a nice place to go for free around KL (sounds weird isn't it). Hilton KL is so nice that I went up to the 8th floor and saw a really nice swimming pool area. I didn't take many photos of what I seen, as there were Hilton employees around. I scare they say that it is not allowed to take photos. Anyway, it is kinda cool to go there and have a look. For those who need idea to build your house, you can go there and "borrow" some of their concept....
This door is really cool. It is an automatic door.

This cave lookalike is actually a link to the Le Meriden Hotel. Both hotels share the pool area.

This is the view from Hilton swimming pool area.

Beach Cafe

My friends and I decided to try a new place out, which is called Bitch Beach Cafe. My friend had high expectation that the waitress there would be wearing bikini. Unfortunately, they were bikiniless, but not nude. Who would wear bikini to serve customers in a small town in Malaysia.

The environment would be nice, if it is not raining. They had a big screen, good music system, beautiful lights, but just average food. This is not my kind of place though, but we had a good time. Not many photos and no drinking occur....

The environment of the cafe.

Just an average butter chicken chop. I guess Sean should be able to cook better.

Cultural Night of UNIM

There was a cultural night just now. It was actually a mixed celebration of the most famous Deeparaya. This year is the last time that Deeparaya occurring in Malaysia, until many years to come. I did not attend the event, as I am doing my work as usual. Just heard a lot of music, people singing, people laughing and cheering. Seemed like a very successful night for the organiser to me. After the event, I decided just to go out and have a look (weird, after the event?) and take some photos. Guess it was fun for those who attend, as there are smiles everywhere....
Candles were arranged on the stairs going up to the 1st floor, to show a feeling of Deepavali.

Group photo of people celebrating the event (partially).
The Indian painting that usually done with rice (I think).

Sunday Market

This morning we decided to go to the wet market in our town for the first time, before going to Tesco. I have not been to a wet market for around a year plus. There were many people at the market as usual, as it was Sunday too. So what to do there? There's where the K750i comes in handy. Photos are taken, but not many. It was a great market trip....
Chicken stall. You can see a chicken's neck which had been chopped and left hanging to it's body.

Fish stall. Many people buying seafood. Squid was being sold for RM 13 for 1KG.

Green vegetables, my favourite.

Taufu, fish balls, meat balls stall.

And there's stalls selling clothes as usual. Honestly, the clothes are actually not bad.

Finally, there are always stalls selling food. Anyone can multi task while eating and marketing.

Black Dog - Good for Health

Guinness Stout, or also known as Black Dog among the Chinese (direct Translation), seems to be good for health. That's what it stated on this cup of in Mandarin.

Anyway, what I was drinking was not Guinness, it was Barley. Now that's good for health......

The Miraculous Slimming Pill

When it comes to promoting slimming pill, the advertisements are always exaggerating. This is to attract people from all ages, but attracting does not mean that they are interested. Like me, when I see it, it was damn funny. If you know how to read Malay, then it's funny. I'll do some translation here. The fat guy was 180kg at first, and he managed to slim down to 83kg in 6 months. That's a lot. I can't really tell whether the skinny guy is really from the fat guy. But, the funniest thing is the skinny guy seems to be a finalist of handsome man (Finalis Raja Segak - Malay)......

Oil Prices Humour

My friend found this 2 videos on oil prices. The second video is very hilarous. This shows how arguments on oil prices can be determined so easily.

Steamboat is in The House

This was our first steamboat in our new home. We decided to have a tomyam steamboat in our new house. Qian Hui, our friend brought the steamboat wok, the red one. We just have our simple steamboat with the usual steamboat dishes. Too bad, I was not in any of the photos, as I was the camera man. It was nice....
Tomyam soup boiling in the kitchen.

All the dishes and the steamboat wok.

The dishes are now in the steamboat wok, waiting for them to be cooked.

It's eating time.

Tesco #3 - Battle of the Cokes

Went to tesco again as usual. Looking for things to blog again as usual, and finally we have saw a fight between 2 Cokes. It was awesome I tell you, both with their own strength and weaknesses, battling out each other.

As you can see, the original Coke has Wayne Rooney (A Manchester United football player), as their representative on the can of the Coke, while the Tesco Coke has itself only to battle the enemy.

This shows that if one drinks the original Coke, one could be Wayne Rooney in the future or it tells that Wayne Rooney drinks Coke too. While if you take Tesco Coke, you get nothing, except with more change in your pocket.

It was really funny to see a Tesco Coke....

Original Coke cost RM 1.05 a can.

While, Tesco Coke cost only RM 0.57 a can.
