Happy New Year

In around 1 hour time, 2007 is here. Tomorrow is a new year and I guess a lot of people are celebrating somewhere. I am just staying at home blogging. Going to sleep soon though. Kinda lazy to celebrate the new year.

Anyway, one of my new year resolutions is to tweak my blog into a better one. Will figure how to do it. Any comment is pretty much appreciated....

A While and on the Way

I want to blog about this two phrase. That's right. A while and on the way. This two phrase is really common being used by Malaysian (I am not sure about other countries though).

A While
"Wait for a while ar," , "Just for a while only,", "A while only lar,". Phrases like this is very common. But how do you define a while? One minute? 10 seconds? 3 hours? How to define a while. My a while can be 1 hour, his a while can be 5 seconds. It is really confusing when it comes to people using a while. I cannot think of a word to substitute a while. A while....

On the Way
This word is another common word and is always the killer one. Why do I say so? Well, if you are waiting for a friend and you call him, he/she will say on the way. But what does that mean? On the way can just mean that the person just woke up from sleep. On the way can mean that the person is still 30 minutes a way from destination. On the way, really keeps people waiting those who use it....

It is really funny sometimes when you think about it. Try to think what you friends say at times and it will be quite funny. A While and on the Way.....

Queensbay Mall [Christmas Blockbuster]

To compensate for not being able to go to Singapore, I made a trip to Queensbay Mall in Penang and this blog entry is the biggest blog entry so far for this blog. No doubt that it is the biggest shopping mall in Penang, but it lacks of class, cause the interior design in the mall is not really nice. Gurney still looks more special, compared to Queensbay Mall. Moreover, the toilet is really bad. For a mall to be great, I feel that the toilet plays and important role. I didn't managed to take a photo of the toilet though, cause I could not get a good angle.

Anyway, the mall is great in the sense that there are outlets that were never in Penang. The food outlets there are the most attracted things of all. As for clothings, I do not really find it nice, perhaps cause there is no FCUK outlet there. So sad. I'll let the picture do the talking now.

Look at the amount of people in the food court. GAP is opening soon. Jusco is the main departmental stall in Queensbay Mall.
Those are just few of the outlets that I took. There are other outlets that I didn't take a photo of, like Nike, Adidas, Fila, Guess, Top Shop, La Senza and others. Overall, I give Queensbay Mall a 7 out of 10......

Desktop Problem

Back at home but did not do much work. Have been DotAing only for the past few days. Only did statistics one day and I do not know how am I going for the exam. Anyway my desktop seems to have this blue screen problem. Occasionally sometimes this problem will happen. Guess I will have to send my computer to format. Till then, I will update my blog again.....

Planet Hollywood

Today is the last day of my semester and I have decided to blog, cause I am free !!! Anyway, I went to Planet Hollywood just now at Bukit Bintang and it was my second time going there with my family. Took some photos and I love the dinner. Had good food, great environment and a wonderful time. Planet Hollywood

This was the best part. A band was there for a company's annual dinner. The crowd went crazy.


Overall, I really love Planet Hollywood. I give it a 5 out of 5. One bad thing, have to save quite a lot of money before going there....

Busy Period

The last two weeks of the semester is always the busiest weeks as this is the time where we have to rush our assignments before having a holiday. Moreover, presentation is tomorrow. Library is the second home at this time of the semester and but that doesn't stop me from using the Internet in the library, especially downloading. The next update of the post will take quite some time, which I guess it would be next week......

Semenyih Night Market

Semenyih, a place where UNIM students spend most of their time to search for food to eat. Then when Saturday comes, it is a special day for the students as there is a Semenyih Night Market. Here is where people can find food which is ranging from average to good, for a quite a good price. Moreover, lots of DVDs and VCDs can be found here ;). At least it is a nice place to go every Saturday night. Not too boring to be just stuck at home. Funny though, I hardly experience rain during Saturday night when I'm there.....
